After finding Beverly (GC28) about two weeks ago, which is the oldest active cache in Illinois and the second oldest active cache in the US, we could not resist taking a small detour on our trip in order to get this one, the oldest active in the USA. Thanks for keeping this one alive.

Was on a day trip from Clay Center to Colby, so I had to take time to find this historic Cache. It is obvious that when the sport was young the idea was to find a spot on the globe and not a needle in a haystack as many are today. There were no travel bugs in the cache. It is sad to see that so many trackables have met their demise here. TNLN SL TFTC!

Fifth day of the long trip home from South Texas and caching along the way. Got here in the dark, but just had to stop and find it. Thanks for keeping this old one alive!
