Welcome to MOOG's Adopted Section of Highway 93.
Come get your picture taken next to our sign, and make those
people driving by wonder what the heck your doing, and what the heck a geocacher is?
This virtual cache is located at one end of 2 miles of Highway 93 that the
Missoula Organization Of Geocachers has adopted for litter cleanup. There
are three annual event caches held here for the cleanup, but we thought traveling
geocachers passing through may want to make a quick stop to show their support
(no trash pickup required).
To log this virtual cache, safely pull off the road and either get a picture
of yourself (wearing any geocaching gear you may own, if possible) standing
next to the sign shown at the left to post with your log here.
To participate in litter cleanup, watch for MOOG
event caches in Spring, Summer and Fall. A mandatory safety meeting will be
held just before each cleanup, assingments and orange vests handed out, Highway
Dept saftey signs posted at each end of The Zone, and plenty of fun and camaraderie
to be had by all.
