Recently we took a trip to Salt Lake City and thought it would
be nice to take a Travel Bug with us. We couldn’t find any near by
with an objective that fit going to Utah so we activated our own
(Slipper).
We think that there needs to be a place where travelers can pick
up and finders can leave, Travel Bugs, giving them a better chance
to reach their objectives. Thus: the Travel Bug Terminal. The cache
is a 2 1/2 gallon Army surplus can buried with only the camouflaged
lid showing. Please try not to remove the can itself from the
ground, but only remove the lid. Also the contents will remain
dry if the lid is replaced with the seal down. See picture
below for original cache contents.
You may claim a find for this cache when you sign in the
logbook. You do not have to leave or take anything. Of course: you
can leave or take travel Bugs if you think you can help them
achieve their objective.
We parked at N34Deg03.814 W117Deg35.073 which is near the corner
of Turner Ave. and Guasti Rd. on the east side of Turner along the
fence.
For information about the interesting town of Guasti and the
church nearby go to : This

The cache is not too near the tracks but be aware the trains
pass by here very fast and children and pets should be on a
leash.
The reason the cache is here in this rather unattractive place
is that it is only 1/3 of a mile from the Ontario Terminal steps. A
passenger waiting for a flight could actually walk to the
cache.
