Geocache Description:

We drove up in four wheel drive, then hiked on up to the cache site. You might want to park farther down and hike more, if you don't have a 4X4.

This might be a nice break from the long drive to/from the Sierra. Allow at least an hour. The container is a blue plastic shoe box. It is near a pack rat's nest. This area is full of prospects and interesting rocks - also very close to Edwards so you might see a stealth flying by! We enjoyed the hike up - there are a lot of Mojave Mound cactus, little joshua trees, creosote, Mojave Asters and lots of other desert plants. The views across the desert are wonderful.
