Geocache Description:

Cabeza Prieta Wildlife Refuge. Permit required. Travel is basicly flat desert with some sand. 4X4 & high clearance would help.

The cache is located in a canyon in the Cabeza Prieta Mountains in the Barry Goldwater Range and Cabeza Prieta Wildlife Refuge. The cache is a wood grain sugar canister with a brown top containing a cold cup, clamps, hole punch, mini screwdriver kit, pencil sharpener, night light, GI Joe doll, tire guage, parachute man, box cutter and a Sacajewa dollar. It is easy to find once you get there. I chose the cache sight because of the scenery and dificulty. The roads North from the El Camino Del Diablo (and south) are posted closed, with the exception of the Christmas Pass road. None of the roads are posted closed from the East, North or West however. The Geocache website generated the 1/5 score. Reaching it will be a bit of a challenge. I doubt it will have 3 visits a year. Have fun.
