Geocache Description:

Nice walk along easy paths. Some problems near cache.

Let me start off by saying that you may WANT to cross the bridge or you may NEED to cross the bridge but DO NOT stop on the bridge...the cache IS NOT located on the bridge. That said, the cache is located in the Penobscot Narrows State Park...aka Fort Knox State Park. Although the walk to the cache is fairly easy, beware of sinkholes that have formed near the cache area. This could make it dangerous with snow cover. The park closes at 4:00 p.m. during the off-season hours but there is no charge. There is a charge during the summer season. DO NOT attempt this cache after park closing. The cache area may not be suitable for younger children who tend to get excited when nearing the cache. Notice the sign titled "For Your Safety" in the parking lot. The cache is a waterproof match container so it will be difficult for trade items. Bring your own pencil/pen. Do not remove rocks from the wall. You can find the cache without disturbing anything. There is a "FTF" prize for that person.
Depending on snow/ice cover, this may not be winter friendly.
