A standard Cache hidden in the Nantahala National Forest near an aqueduct pipe that carries water from Santeetlah Dam to a powerhouse at Cheoah Lake.
Cache is a standard ammo box hidden a short ways away from the foot bridge at Highway 129. The bridge is a bit shaky, but will hold your weight. Original contents include: emergency candles, magnetic message holder, stuffed keychain dog, mini lantern flashlight, water purifying tablets, and logbook/pens.
The underbrush in the area can be pretty thick, so be careful for the occasional thorn. Thick tree cover can make getting a signal a bit diffuicult even in the winter.
