GatoRx: As much fun as this cache has been, its also been a bear to maintain. We have plans in the works for another challenging multi for this park at some point, so we decided it would be best to take Ring's Challenge down for good.

Thanks to all that have hunted this one (especially those with the perseverence to stick it out and find the final stage.) We've enjoyed reading all your logs, and hearing of the great adventures on your hunts.

Geocache Description:

Its time to return to Ringhaver Park!

This time around, your hunt is going to take longer. Ring's Challenge is a puzzle/multi-cache hybrid stretching across much of the park. Your total hiking distance is over one mile, and you'll be going through a variety of terrain. You'll be under trees for much of the hunt, so don't expect good satellite reception. Please remember to keep the location of the container confidential, and replace it exactly as you found it.

Now let's get started. The first set of coordinates are to the first leg of the hunt, and its the puzzle portion of this cache. These coordinates will lead you to a location where you must identify the year that the park was dedicated. When you have the year, add it to the last four digits in these coordinates:

W081º 40.992
This new set of coordinates will take you to the next leg, and you can continue from there.

UPDATE 9/30/05: Part of the coords on one marker are illegible, so when you find yourself floating, use W081º 43.048 to complete the needed info.
