Geocache Description:

The wind cave has ocean and mountain views. It requires some rock scrambling which explains the terrain difficulty of 4. That may be overstated but I have seen several people who refused to climb up the rocks.

The cache is in an ammo container covered with some rocks at the north opening in the wind cave. I'm not sure if I remembered to put a pen in the cache so if you have an extra please bring it with you. There are two ways to get to the wind cave, one from the ocean and one from "The Crosses". The way from the ocean is surely easier. There is a nice little state park at Gaviota Beach that would be a good starting point. There is a well maintained trail but it is not on any topo maps since it is only about 5 or 6 years old.
