Remember the Burma Shave signs along
the highways in years past?
Burma Shave was a brushless shaving cream that was made popular in
early 20th century America by a unique advertising campaign that
consisted of a series of signs evenly spaced along the America's
highways providing an interesting diversion for travelers. They
were clever, fun and consequently were quite popular.
Click on the Burma Shave logo below to see a lot
of the original Burma Shave signs!
This cache is the first of a series of Burma Caches. The
treasure is in the hunt and the message you build at each
coordinate.
These caches are multi-virtual caches and consist of a series
of coordinates. At each coordinate you will find a small metal tag
with a word or two attached in plain view (usually to a fence or
sign post).
In order to verify
your visit, you need to supply the following
information:
- What is the phrase built from
the words at each coordinate?

THIS cache is an easy one. All the coordinates are in a single
city park. You can easily walk from one to the next.

November 4 by Fewkes Clan (57 found) This was fun. I have read a lot abut the Burma Shave bilboards. This was a fun way to experience something like it.
[view this log] | October 31 by sneak-rm (111 found) Found it on my way to 60 for the month...my 2nd Burma Cache...TFTC!
[view this log] | October 18 by nvrndinjurny (78 found) Thanks for the fun adventure. We had a picnic in the park and Journey played forever. She even practiced CITO. We got a few pics and will upload those when we get home. Email with answers sent.
[view this log] | July 19 by remmiw (181 found) Thanks for the fun cache. We are really enjoying these multi's.
[view this log] | July 1 by Chuky & Hoobie Troop (124 found) We love the Burma Caches so much that we did a midnight cache run for this one. It was very dark in the area so we had to look extra hard and then the sprinklers came on and Hoobie didn't want to look anymore, but Chuky was determined to find all the pieces to this cache. He was running around the park through the sprinklers and puddles and got a good laugh when he scared Hoobie upon his return of finding all the pieces. Thanks for the cache, we had a good time with this one!
