Kids' GEO-Graphics Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Sapience Trek: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Located in the village of Hamburg by 'Eighteen Mile Creek', this cache is dedicated to the creativity of children.

Please re-read this cache page before attempting to find this cache!

Over the past two years, “Mother Nature” has changed the landscape of this park drastically!

Located in the village of Hamburg by 'Eighteen Mile Creek', this cache is dedicated to the creativity of children.
In order to log this cache, you will need the creative help of a child: the logbook is in fact a standard size photo album in which you will have to insert a drawing or any other form of artwork created by a child. Baby footprints or handprints are also acceptable :) Please upload a picture of the artwork when you log your find on the web site.
The dimensions of the artwork should be slightly under 4.5" x 6” to fit in the photo album, unless you want to fold it.

To begin your quest, park on Crescent Street near the 'Anna Mae Bacon Creekside Conservancy'! The coords around (N42 42.780; W78 49.669) should help! From there, walk down the pathway to the coordinates ( sign in podium) posted on the cache page. At this point, use your compass and follow a bearing of 298° (degrees) and start looking for the cache. But to find this box, you'll need to think outside the box!

Please leave the cache hidden -exactly- as you found it! Be discreet when retrieving the cache since the area is surrounded by houses, pay special attention to the houses across the creek. They have a birds eye view of the area.
The park officially closes at sunset!

Note of caution: Use common sense if you take small children caching with you, do not let them get near the creek!

Cache On!
