This is a 2 step cache. The co-ordinates above are for the key only. Once you find the key, you will have the co-ordinates for the cache.
Use the parking area for the Nose trail. There are several trails leading out from the parking area. It doesn't matter which one you use, because you won't be on it for long. The cache is placed no where near the trail because I didn't want any one to "happen" upon it. The key is hidden in a black film cannister with a gray lid near a hollow tree (see log by IguanaJoe on 2-10-03). Also in the cannister are the co-ordinates for the cache. PLEASE place the cache back as you found it and PLEASE put the key back where you found it! You will have to do some hands and knees scrambling to get to the cache.
The cache container is a large ammo box covered with all the signatures of the contributing geocachers. This was put together at the WNC Geocacher Gathering #2 on Jan.26, 2003. 49 people attended, and 59 objects were placed in the cache, including 4 travel bugs. Many of the items are quite desirable, so please replace with a comparable item.
