Geocache Description:

An amusing challenge, in which I perform a feat of mind reading.

You do not need to visit the listed coordinates, but rather use them to calculate the first waypoint as specified below. Further, you will not be trespassing nor will you be going to hard to access waypoints, nor driving nor walking long routes, nor ending up any place dangerous. This is a clue!

Total time required once arriving at the first waypoint: approx. 30 minutes


The first part of this cache is where I read your mind by knowing what country, animal, and colour you will select.

1. Pick a number between 1 and 10, inclusive.

2. Multiply that number by 9.

3. If the answer is two digits, add them together. (If it's just one digit, leave it as it is.)

4. Subtract 5 from the result.

5. Locate the letter of the alphabet that corresponds to that number.

6. Think of a country that begins with that letter. Brrr, it can get cold there for the mermaids!

7. Think of an animal that begins with the last letter of that country. Now just how high can it go?

8. Think of a colour that begins with the last letter of that animal.

9. Count the total number of letters in the country name, animal, and colour.

That wasn't hard, was it? Now, for finding the cache:

Multiply the result from #9 by itself, and add this result, in the x.xxx format, to each minutes portion of the listed coordinates.

At the new set of coordinates, there is a two tone metallic object with a repeating geometric design. This location is easily car accessible from a few metres away, and is 999 metres from the listed coordinates. Ascertain the number of repetitions of the darker part of the repeating geometric design. Multiply the result by the result from #9 above, and add this result, in the x.xxx format, to each minutes portion of the following coordinates:

At the new set of coordinates, you will find another metallic object of vehicular interest. A checksum of importance regarding a referenced day of the week on the object is 5. You may park nearby. Add all of the digits relating to the hour of the day together, then multiply the result by the result from #9 above, and add this result, in the x.xxx format, to each minutes portion of the following coordinates, which will lead you to the cache.
