"The Ornament"
It is a moving micro cache designed to be hidden in trees, and meant to stay in Utah County.

This cache is a Christmas ornament with a 35mm film canister inside. It has a log sheet, but please BYOP.

It should be easy to re-hide in the tree of your choice, though I would recommend evergreen, due to the container, the 'theme' of the cache, and the cover it provides in the winter.

Here are some guidelines:

  • If you can't re-hide in a few days, please don't take it!
  • If you find it, you should take it and re-hide it, especially if it's in a high-traffic area.
  • Please keep it in Utah County/Valley.
  • Once you re-hide it, make a separate note with the coordinates, difficulty, and any hints you'd like to give.
  • Don't re-hide it higher than a 2/2.
  • You can re-find it if 3 other people have found it or if it hasn't been touched in 3 weeks.

One more reminder, please don't hide with a terrain higher than 2, the purpose is for geocachers to find it, not for it to sit in a tree all winter where no one can get it....Thanks for your help, and have fun with this cache.
