The theme of this cache is RHYMING.
It may or may not have good TIMING.

Here's your chance to show your stuff.
Pick a topic. (None are tough.)
Write a poem and do your best
To make it funnier than all the rest.

Cache Guidelines:

  1. Since the cache has gone missing and I'm no longer in the area to replace it, I've converted this cache to a virtual type cache.
  2. You get to select any topic you wish for your poem.
  3. Your on-line log MUST include a poem with a MINIMUM of FOUR lines. At least TWO of the lines must rhyme. It is legal for someone else to write the poem for you, but it must be original. No duplicates and no plagiarism allowed.
  4. You MUST send me an email saying what kind of tree the original cache was hidden under. That is, what kind of tree is at the posted coordinates? This is a geocaching requirement for virtual caches.
  5. Due to geocaching laws, "Found It" logs that fail to meet these criteria will be deleted.

Here's an example of a dumb little verse that fills the requirements.
The TOPIC is: Breakfast.

Roses are red,
Violets are purple.
On my waffles,
I like maple surple.

You can park within a few feet of the cache location so you don't even need to get out of your car while you get the answer to the cache question and compose your poem.

I'll email the pic in a few - not sure what kind of scrubby tree that is. I can identify the bum living under it, though. He's a regular on our corner near the shop. :D

Hobo, hobo, what do you know?
What type of tree is your abode?
Sumac, ucalypt or some kind of fir?
I wasn't stalking you, just found you thur.

Thank you.

Tree, Tree what could it be?
I'll take a piece and we will see.

Asked a friend but she didn't know,
Who else can I take it to show?

Info on the way, thanks!

Ah jeez, where should I start
I'm just here trying to do my part
In from out of town
Didn't want another frown
So I drove down there in my cart.

Christ that's awful. Sending a picture of the tree because I have no idea what kind it is :) TFTC

A Monday afternoon in Oceanside is still a day of muggles which caused problems for grabbing several caches. Thankfully I was able to get this one.
Therefore, I submit my poem:
On any given day I love to roam,
To head out and explore somewhere new.
It doesn't matter in which direction from home
As I take the Thomas Guide along to review!
Ta Dah....
