Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

The theme of this cache is RHYMING.
It may or may not have good TIMING.
Here's your chance to show your stuff.
Pick a topic. (None are tough.)
Write a poem and do your best
To make it funnier than all the rest.

Cache Guidelines:

  1. Since the cache has gone missing and I'm no longer in the area to replace it, I've converted this cache to a virtual type cache.
  2. You get to select any topic you wish for your poem.
  3. Your on-line log MUST include a poem with a MINIMUM of FOUR lines. At least TWO of the lines must rhyme. It is legal for someone else to write the poem for you, but it must be original. No duplicates and no plagiarism allowed.
  4. You MUST send me an email saying what kind of tree the original cache was hidden under. That is, what kind of tree is at the posted coordinates? This is a geocaching requirement for virtual caches.
  5. Due to geocaching laws, "Found It" logs that fail to meet these criteria will be deleted.

Here's an example of a dumb little verse that fills the requirements.
The TOPIC is: Breakfast.

Roses are red,
Violets are purple.
On my waffles,
I like maple surple.

You can park within a few feet of the cache location so you don't even need to get out of your car while you get the answer to the cache question and compose your poem.

So a rhyme is what you will get
Before the rain makes us all wet
We are having some fun
caching in the sun
This is the best we've seen yet.

We are here to check out this cache.
But what do we find but some trash.
So onward we go, down the coast that is slow
In the hopes of spending some cash..

Why do I cache in the rain?
It really is such a pain.
I get soaking wet,
to find F T F.
You'd think I was lacking a brain.

Photo At the ? Tree

Logged this with Coozers. He submitted the poem for us, but here's another...

To log this we must create a rhyme
about a tree that I cannot climb
A simple life it lives
A little shade it gives
I can't name this tree while on vacation
Traveling the coast of this great nation

Down by the sea,
There lives a sad tree,
It wishes it were an oak, ash, or pine,
Or anything else with a notable leaf design.

Logged with TCOOZERS and DAZEMAR.
