Geocache Description:

River Bend Park

This is a nice short quick one if you don't have much time. The cache is located in the Town of Marion, VA in River Bend Park.

This is a very small, but nice park. It is located on the grounds that used to be part of the local sewer plant. A new facility was built much farther downstream, and this spot was reclaimed and made into a park. The stream that runs through the Park is stocked with trout by the Virginia Dept. of Fish and Game. So bring your pole, (AND your fishing license) if you have time to spare.

There are bathroom facilities, and a paved trail. The trail is very well lit for nightime caching. However; the park is closed from 11:00PM until 0600AM every day. So please don't do your caching during this time.

This is a Micro, about 4" in diameter and 1" deep. It only contains a log book and a pencil. It is well camouflaged so look closely. Things aren't always what they seem.
