Located in Amherst, 'Walton Woods Park' features 2 lakes, bike and nature trails as well as an 'old growth' forest.
This 52 acre park is little known but has really cool features: hiking, biking and cross-country ski trails, playgrounds hidden in the deep woods, a lake and a pond. Its most unique feature is a 6 acre 'old-growth' forest with huge 150-year old beech and tulip trees.
This winter-accessible cache is a .30 cal. ammo box packed with toys for boys.
The park officially closes at sunset, however local residents regularly use it for evening walks and jogs.
Please put the cache back -EXACTLY- where and -HOW- you found it. Under no circumstances should the cache be exposed.
