Geocache Description:

It has been two years to the date since I placed my first cache. To celebrate entering into my third year of Geocaching I decided to place a cache!

I had a large three foot tall cache container and I did not know what to do with it. My 'Briefcase Full of Blues Cache' would not fit in it. I have been looking for a place to put it that would be interesting and I finally found it. The only problem was that it was pretty easy to get to with just a short walk. We can't have that now can we.

J.C. and I were walking around at about 3:33 PM one afternoon looking for ideas for something interesting to work with for this cache. Suddenly I crossed the 84° 33.333' line and a cache idea was born!

I figured I should have three total locations. One third of them is hard to get to and two-thirds are easy to get too. The two initial locations currently have small blue dog tags. Each one has a coordinate engraved on it. One tag has the North coordinate and the other has the West. The third location has the cache box. You can see that it is a LARGE cache. The opening is the size of a 50 cal. ammo box. It is standing up waiting to be found. Here we go...

First Location:

N  33° 51.111'
W 84° 33.333'

The first location is at the coordinates listed above. You don't have to start here, but aren't the coordinates cool! The starting point is your choice. you will find a small blue metal dog tag hanging on a tree.

Second Location:

N  33° 51.053'
W 84° 33.333'

This is the second location. Here you will find a small metal blue dog tag wired up loosely in a tree about head high. The second coordinate will be found here. You can now proceed to the final cache location!

These three locations are fairly near each other, but there is a large feature between two-thirds of them. If you could go directly between them the distance would be about one-third as far as it will take you to actually hike it. Near the final cache location there are three large concrete structures. I have no idea what they are and whoever can figure out what they are gets three stars. First finders of this cache will score some new signature items that I have just created. Two-thirds of the items have come in and are in the cache. Park in one of the Comet Trail parking lots nearby.

Have fun with this cache. Thanks for looking for my caches over the last two years. I hope my third year is as much fun.
