Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

The cache is a small plastic box, about 3"x2"x0.5", lightly camouflaged. It's in plain view from some angles. A photo of the cache in situ might give away the hiding place, so I've only provided a photo of a nearby view. You do not need to walk on or near the train tracks. Be careful when retrieving and re-hiding it, if you drop it you will not be able to get it back.

Initial contents:

  • A few sheets of Rite in the Rain paper for logging your visit - bring your own writing implement.
  • A Sacagewea dollar for the first to find.

Looked hard at night the first time but had no luck in finding it. Came back in the afternoon a few days later with the updated coordinates in the log and spotted in about 10 minutes. Crafty :) TFTC

Gwapogreg and I met up for a caching run and this was one of the grooviest locations. As soon as we were honing in on GZ, we knew exactly what we would be searching. We divvied up the location, only concentrating on one end as all provided coords were in the ballpark. Sure enough, I felt something a bit different. It was a little difficult to get a handle on it so I took extra care retrieving and replacing so that another could find. Could not see it from any angles until we knew it was there

G+8 and i were out for a morning of caching. G+8 zeroed in on this one and pulled it to safety. She was careful replacing it so others could enjoy it later.

The hard thing about this cache is the coords are waaaay off.

After reading the logs, I kind of figured where this cache will be. From the posted coord, I actually found the cache then I retrieved it.

It was a fun cache, would be difficult at night though. I posted new coords of where the cache was located for me, hope it helps.

TFTH.
