Before there were multiplexes or MTV, there was big screen
cinema to transport us to other places and other circumstances.
These old style movie theaters are worthy of our fondest
memories.
Three communities east of the Caldecott Tunnel have seen fit to
cherish and patronize their neighborhood movie theaters: Lafayette,
Moraga, and Orinda. Stop by, and catch a matinee or evening
show.
2009 note: Theatres at Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda were
originally featured in this series. The Park in Lafayette closed
and cache is archived. My Moraga cache at the Rheem is archived but
