CWL005 - The Wolf River
"Bottoms"
I hope you like exercise Memphis!
I placed this ammo container in the Shelby Farms - Wolf River
Bottoms. These are some of the best Mountain Bike Trails in
Memphis, so bring your bike! ATVs and Dirt bikes are not allowed on
these trails! Only bicycles and hikers are allowed.
I intentionally placed this cache about half way between
Walnut-Grove and S. Germantown on the North side of Wolf River to
get the most distance from where you start. So you are looking at
the least, a 3 mile round trip. There are two starting points one
is at Walnut-Grove @ the Wolf River. (To access the parking lot go
through the soccer\BMX track parking lot and follow along
Walnut-Grove till you dead-end into the river.) The other is just
off of S. Germantown @ the Wolf River. (To access go West though
the stop light @ S. Germantown and Walnut bend)
I followed the Blue trail most of the way from the Walnut-Grove
access point. Then at one point I jumped onto the White trail. I'm
not a 100% sure, but I think the cache is about 150ft off of the
White trail. Please cover back up well before leaving. Good
