Virtually a Cache (Hants) Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

paul.blitz: Well, it lasted well, and as I don't really do much caching anymore, it's probably time to retire this cache.

Thank you ALL for your visits!

Geocache Description:

A Virtual Cache, but using an ammo box????

The idea of this cache is NOT to actually put REAL things in, but to use your imagination, and put things in that you might NOT normally leave in a cache: the wilder the better!

In the cache you will find a load of small cards for you to describe what you are leaving: of course, you might bring your own card, with a picture or drawing on it.

Whatever you decide to 'leave', it must be able to 'fit into' the ammo box: so you can leave some car keys, but not the Rolls-Royce that the keys fit!

To start things off, we have left:

Ferrari Keys £1 million IOU from Richard Branson 'Dinner for 2 at the Ritz' voucher Diamond Engagement ring ....plus a few other daft things, not forgetting the log book & pencil.

Currently there is PLENTY of room in the cache, so get your imaginations in gear.

Oh, there *is* an exception to the above rules.... Travel Bugs are MOST WELCOME to visit (in fact, there is a HUGE amount of space for them!!!)

The cache is not far from Otterbourne Reservoir, which is a great place for kids to run around, and play cricket etc (oh, maybe I should have said that it's a COVERED reservoir, with a large grass-covered flat top!).

If you can find the small 'castle' then you are heading in the right direction! (ok, there ARE also other ways to get there, but they aren't as nice a walk!)

Whilst we have given the cache a 2/2 rating, that should be changed to a 3/2 or a 4/2 in the summer, as the tree cover DOES make this a difficult location to find!

Please leave the cache well covered, to prevent casual passers-by from finding it (you will find plenty of evidence of human visits in the area....)
