The Cache is at the easy end of a short 1.1 mile hike down to the river.
The hard part is the climb back up from the river.
Park in the vicinity of N38°58.617' W120°41.409'.
The cache will be after the bridge crossing Pilot Creek on the river side of the trail before you come to the washed out bridge across the Rubicon river.
The cache is a 1.7 pt (7.5"x5'x2.5") Rubbermaid container in a black plactic bag.
The cache contains a log book, pen, spare batteries and some trade beads and other exchange items.
It is hidden under a rock covered in leaves.
I want you to find this cache because the hike back up the hill is a bit of work and besides I hate pink frowning faces. Don't get me wrong the hike is worth the trip but to not score a find after the hike would be disappointing.
Stop and look at the view of the Rubicon River at N38°58.409' W120°42.332' on your drive in.
