Located in a pull-off station along the Colonial Parkway.
There is a wonderful White Oak tree that has branches that are over 150 long and is impressive considering that it has been around since the 18th century.
:) REMEMBER to obey the speed limit!!!! This is a federal ticket for speeding if you don't.
Can access from Jamestown Settlement/Jamestown Island, Colonial Williamsburg, or Yorktown. Colonial Williamsburg access is a lot closer to site, however you'll miss a beautiful drive along the 26 mile parkway.
When you get to the cache site you will instantly notice a HUGE, live White Oak tree that has been around since the 18th century. There used to be two trees, but a few years ago the other was destroyed by a lightning strike. You'll notice grounding wires on the surviving tree.
Cache is virtual.
