Point Cartwright (Maintenance by Steve Meyerink-Thanks Steve)

1 litre plastic blue, Cadbury, Caramello Ice Cream container

Under some rocks and debris at 20 m elevation

“A straight compass line may be the shortest and quickest way for a kookaburra (Dacelo novaeguineae) to get from A to B, this is generally not true for a man (Homo sapiens) on the ground in rough terrain”.

This third Queensland cache contains more signature items found by plantman in local Victoria/Vancouver/Nanaimo area caches. Original contents: a plantman travelling pet rock #19, pet rock and lovebug, a marinerBC rubber ducky, a Captain No Beard notebook and doubloon, a cacherunner cachecow and deck of Canadian playing cards, a loony Easter bunny monkey, a notebook and bumper sticker from the Van Isle Newcastle Island geo event, whistle, pocket knife, a Canada logo smiley key chain, halloween bags, a pen and a logbook.

In the area today and decided to do the local caches. Search in all the obvious places for a while with no luck, should have trusted our GPS as it led us straight to the cache T4TC.

Spent considerable time searching with fire_boy72 and three Geo-Kids. Had no luck this time around, it was terribly hot, and after 45mins the women-folk had had enough.
Will add this to my list for a re-visit next holiday.

Wow!. Nice to find an an old timer. I have at least one older cache logged from 2002, but this is still fun. Great hide. I went out at night and found it with a flashlight. It took a little doing though.
