Geocache Description:

The theme of this Cache is elongated coins. You know, smashed pennies from those penny smashing machines you find in arcades. The container is a glass spice jar in a zip lock baggie. It is larger than a film can but still too small for a log.
You can access the cache by using a popular dirt trail that can be muddy and slick in spots. The walk is predominantly level with kids, dogs and mountain bikes welcome.

For many this will be a TN/LN cache.THERE IS NO LOG BOOK. If you don't have a EC coin to trade but want one, check out this EC coin locator:
(visit link)

If you don't feel like going out to smash a penny, leave a wheat back penny (1944-1958) and I'll harvest them from time to time and turn them into collectable EC's. Don't bother leaving any pennies newer than 1982. They have zinc cores and I won't use them to make new EC's. Pennies before 1982 are full copper.

The best place to park is at:

N 45.32.374
W 122.35.955

It is possible to park on a city street very close to the cache site. I want to discourage this because new plants have been planted in the area and I want to keep soil erosion down to a dull roar. Please access the main trail from either the West or the East end and stay on the trail until you are within 10 feet of the cache. Failure to honor this request will result in you log being deleted.
