Geocache Description:

The trailhead for this cache is at the back of the Carlyle Linder equestrian arena, a right turn off of Glendora Mountain Road. Wide-open parking areas, and dogs/bikes are ok to bring. Find the “Wren Meacham Trail” sign next to the bridge(s) and start your walk there. The cache is barely a 1/4 mile up the trail.

The cache is a plastic, rectangular 1/2 gallon “jelly bean” container, painted cameo.
Original contents were:
·Logbook & pen
·Silly putty
·Glow-in-the-dark wall paint
·Mini paint box
·Rainbow-lead watercolor pencil
·Large sticky hand
·Sea otter candle holder/candles
·“Mint” marker
·Mini carabineer keychain
·Traveling Geocoin (same as a travelbug, not for keeps, keep it movin’)

The Wren Meacham Trail is a rather secluded, lesser-known trail in the Glendora foothills. Springtime brings all the wildflowers out and there seems to be a most spectacular display right on this trail (especially on the upper parts). It is a multi-use trail, so don’t be surprised if you see bikes or equestrians on it. This means that dogs are also allowed, if you want to take Pooch caching. You have a very good chance of seeing deer on the trail, too, if you keep an eye out for them! One thing you want to beware of is poison oak…we did our best to clear out any that was creeping into the trail on the way/at the cache, and the cache itself is hidden so as to never be near poison oak.

This is the first cache we have hidden, so if the coords are badly off, please let us know!! Thanks!
