UPDATE 5/29/03: If anyone has a folding or other kind of protable chair, please bring it to sit in. I may not have enough seats for everyone to sit. Thanks.
This event was already in consideration at the time of, but was further inspired by the Kisatchie Cool Weather Campout. We're going to be boiling a few pots of crawfish and just sittin' back and relaxing on a beautiful (fingers crossed) May afternoon in New Orleans.
Saturday, May 31 seemed to be the most popular choice, and I'm aiming at the first batch being ready at about 2:00 pm, but we'll probably start the preparations much earlier, so don't be afraid to come and help ;)
Also, bring a cache item that'll fit in a 30mm ammo box. This will be the Louisiana Geocacher's Mudbug Fest Memorial Cache that I'll hide afterwards.
Please post a note on this page so I can get an idea of how many sacks to get. I'll have the usual side items: potatos, corn, onions & garlic. BYOB and anything else that you'd like to throw in the pot! A small fee will apply.
