Blind Umpire: It was good while it lasted. I hope someone will take over this land and put some good ones up.

This is a night time cache. The trail is marked using small reflective markers that can only be seen at night with a flashlight. The trail you will traverse is a well established trail. The land was clear cut several years ago so you'll be walking under the moonlight.
This cache has been updated as of 10/18/03. To everyone who has found the cache prior to today, I tip my hat to you! You've walked over 3 miles one way following a glint trail in the dark looking for a box just so you could write your name and trade an item. As of now, the hike is only 1/4 mile each way and all on nice trail. You should see the glowing eyes of deer as they watch you on your adventure.
The coordinates above will take to to a gate off of 144th ST NW and highway 302. Make sure you create a landmark before you begin so you can find your way out easily. Park here and walk northerly into the woods following the trail/road until you see the glint markers. The first marker is 300'~ from the gate at N 47* 23.430 W 122* 40.960. Follow the glint markers until you arrive at 2 markers together. This marks the cache. The cache is hidden inside a medium container about the size of a 2 quart thermos. Bring extra batteries and an extra flashlight bulb. Total hike in is about 1/4 mile or less. Have fun!
