Geocache Description:

The coordinates given for this cache are a starting point. You will need to figure out the actual coordinates by completing the challenge.

Greetings, Agent. This mission is to find the secret stash of the infamous “Matrix” group. Fellow geocachers and Agent Harris solved and decoded the Matrix groups matrix and found the Matrix groups stash in California. It is now believed that the Matrix group also has an operation in Minnesota.

One of our local operatives, Agent Ole, has been searching for the missing and feared dead, Agent Harris of California. During his search, Agent Ole stumbled upon a coded Matrix message that pointed to a Matrix group operation in Minnesota. Shortly after joining up with Agent Sven, Agents Ole and Sven disappeared. It is believed that they were on the trail of Agent Smith of California, a suspected double Agent, who was the last person to see Agent Harris alive. We have been unable to crack the complex Matrix group’s code like Agent Harris did and needs your assistance.

The "Matrix" group earned their name because they use a complicated, encoded matrix for communicating among themselves. Agent Harris managed to decode the first series of matrixes that his team intercepted. When decoded, these produced a new matrix, believed to contain pointers to the location of a hidden bunker where the group keeps a stash of supplies. Due to the sensitive nature of this information, Agent Harris kept it to himself. Ole and Sven somehow decoded this latest series of matrixes. Sven had reported only that the code is the same as the California Matrix group but different (This is typical of Ole and Sven, same but different). Their last transmission contained an encoded matrix that we believe will reveal the location of the Matrix group's supplies once decoded properly. Unfortunately, it seems Agents Ole and Sven were captured before they could complete the transmission and we only received the following partial, incomplete matrix:

---------------------------------
|+3 |+2 |+3 |+2 |+5 |+6 |+5 |+1 |
---------------------------------
|+2 | J | C | F | I | M | K | C |
---------------------------------
|+1 | E | O | A | N | E | | |
---------------------------------
|+0 | T | F | M | | | | |
---------------------------------
|-0 | H | F | | | | | |
---------------------------------
|-1 | R | | | | | | |
---------------------------------
|-2 | | | | | | | |
---------------------------------
|-3 |-6 |-6 |-6 |-3 |-2 |-3 |-2 |
---------------------------------

During the course of the day, Agents Ole and Sven had checked in regularly. We believe the location of these meetings contains important information that will complete the partial matrix and reveal the location of the Matrix group's supplies. Agents Ole and Sven's last seven known locations and activities were:

Ole: Met with Lena.
N45° 02.229'
W092° 59.038'

Ole: Breakfast & check-in. A message was received during this transmission. The message was "Mrs. B is number One in my book don’t you know." and originated at:
N45° 01.300'
W092° 58.988'

Ole: Met with Agent Sven. A message was received during this transmission. The message was "I See Two."
N45° 00.670'
W092° 59.680'

Sven: Met with Agent Ole. A message was received during this transmission. The message was " Ya, you betcha. This is For Everything.." and originated at:
N45° 01.653'
W092° 59.820'

Sven: Lunch & check-in. A message was received during this transmission. The message was "Oh my gosh, he Ate It. This mission must be done by the numbers." and originated at:
N45° 01.522'
W093° 00.379'

Sven: Tracking Agent Smith (now missing, presumed to be double Agent)
N45° 00.731'
W093° 00.294'

Final transmission, presumably they had caught up to Agent Smith. Transmission was terminated abruptly and we only received the partial matrix. The transmission originated at:
N45° 00.760'
W092° 57.870'

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to retrace Agents Ole and Sven’s steps looking for clues that will lead you to the secret stash, complete the matrix using these clues, decode the matrix, and find the secret stash. Once you locate the stash you must retrieve at least one item from it as evidence and leave another item in its place so that nobody notices anything's missing. Log the swap in the logbook to make it seem like it was one of their own Agents visiting the stash.
As always, should you or any member of your team be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow all knowledge of your actions.
This message will self-destruct in five seconds.
