Park at coordinates N38 26.220 W122 20.959. There is a trail leading off to the right. Prepare for an easy walk on a gradual incline- NOT! This puppy is rocky and steep, as in STEEP. Check out how much elevation you gain. "So is it all uphill, Huntnlady?" "No, only half of it is- its all downhill when you return." Your vehicle will look like a little toy down below, but the view of the valley on one side and the reservoir on the other side of the ridge will get your camera clicking. Feel free to post pictures here. Stay on the trail and don't stop 'til you hit the top!
And for goodness sakes, this is hiking in the California hills- wear long pants!
