Geocache Description:

This cache will require some climbing and 'bushwhacking'. It is at an altitude of 2390 Feet

This cache container is a small ammo box at an altitude of 2390 feet and is our first cache. It is located on Black Bear Mountain, in the Adirondack State Park-New York State. The cache contains an assortment of items for children and hikers.

There are a few games, trinkets, some waterproof matches and a collapsible cup. This is a good hike for the whole family .The cache is not far from the main trail, but enjoy the hunt. The top of the mountain overlooks 6th,7th and Raquette Lakes and is one of our favorite mountains in the area.
