The cache is on the Peron Peninsula, in the Francois Peron National Park. 2wd can access as far as the Peron Station Homestead. From here it is a 45km to the cache site, along a very rough and sandy track with clearance only suitable for a 4WD. You will also need to deflate your tyre pressure down to about 20psi. The cache site is on a hill overlooking the Eastern Gulf.

The cache is a grey tupperware container, hidden near a bush and covered with bits of dead shub roots and wood. The cache contents are a Colorado Keyring, 2 South Park figure, a torch, a party whistle, and the donkey from Shrek.

Found this on a tour with Harvey, who didn't know anything about caching, but got really excited about the concept, and helped us look for this one. Found it easily on a beautiful daytour in this NP. Thanks again Harvey. And TFTC Team Tuff

Easy find. The views from the cache are truly great. The kids exchanged toys and were happy with the spot. Mad 4WD track out there, make sure you let some air out of your tyres.

Another great spot, the sea was a bit cloudy so missed out seeing much of the sealife that is frequently spotted from this location.

An interesting drive to gz. Changing track conditions kept us alert as did the scenery at the different turn offs. We enjoyed the view from gz and finding the cache. TNLN. Thanks Team Tuff

June 20 by Nomads (948 found)
Found by Ray and Maya at 12:50PM on the 20th of June. An easy find, though the cache description no longer matches the container. Now read 'Grey ammo box'. The cache was being guarded today by an Osprey chick waiting for mum to return with dinner. It was looking a bit lost, perhaps its nest was the pile of twigs now located on the ground under the light's power box. We are going to stop here and have our lunch before moving on to explore some more. As we departed, mum returned with a feed, but the chick had to fly a circuit before receiving the meal. Great driving to get here, though it has changed considerably since we were last here in 2000. TNLN. Thanks for the cache and the lunch venue. The Nomads.
