The location of the cache (N 42 19.540 W 121' 44.960 has some historical benefits that you will instantly see. Be careful though, its probably not as sturdy as it might look. The terrain difficulty is due to the snow. (1' - 3') Once you arrive at the coordinates you need to proceed at 162 degrees for 18 yards. The sattelite reception wasn't up to my standards. I only had 4 satelites, with a D.O.P. of 1.9 with about a 29' error. Elevation approx. 4801
This cache is placed in a tupperware container that a loaf of bread could fit in. 5"x5"x18". Included in the cache (original items) are 3 Golf Balls, Key Chain, Flashlight, a Swiss Army Knife, 4" Crescent Wrench, Hand Warmer, 3 Patches (an Antarctica, Scuba Diver, and a Air Force), and a 2" Closed Pocket Knife. I dont think I'd want to try this one in a pickup until mid March.
