************************* YLLÄPITOTIEDOTE - MAINTENANCE NOTE 16.8.2015 - Lokikirja vaihdettu ja uusi kynä - New log book and new pencil ************************* One of the statues of the Marshal of Finland, Baron C.G.E. Mannerheim is located at Mannerheiminkallio (Cliff of Mannerheim) in Tampere. This micro cache is in the vicinity of this statue. Data about the statue can be found at http://www.tampere.fi/vapriikki/nymu/patsaat/index.htm (unfortunately only in Finnish) and additional data about Mannerheim himself at http://www.mannerheim-museo.fi/index_eng.htm. There is a parking place only 200 m from the statue and from parking place there is a quided path to the statue. An additional difficulty factor is created by the fact that next to the cache there is a very popular path which is used for jogging (and sking). The hiding of the cache already was interrupted by people asking if I have lost something :-) The coordinates above lead you to front of the statue. Read the plate in the base of the statue. Let the number of letters on the first row be A and the amount of all the other letters shall be B. C is the year mentioned in the plate (the four digit number). The coordinates for the final cache are: N: 6127294+C E: 2354289+A*B Add the degree mark and dot to create the proper DD MM.mmm expression for the GPSr. Snow will make it impossible to access the cache. Only content: a logbook and a pencil. ATTENTION - due to muggler activity there is no pencil on the moment and the container is yellow "egg". Yksi marsalkka Mannerheimille pystytetyistä patsaista sijaitsee Mannerheiminkalliolla Tampereella. Tämä mikrokätkö on kyseisen patsaan lähistöllä. Ensimmisen rivin kirjainten lukumäärä on A ja loppujen kirjainten lukumäärä on B. Kyltissä mainittu vuosiluku on C.
