Cinco de Mayo has arrived! Yeah... yeah... my timing is a bit off.
It's the story of my life.
This microcache is your basic aquatic turtle (Red-eared Slider
and Florida Cooter are my 2 hard shelled pets) floating food stick
container. In other words, it's a little bigger than your basic
35mm film container but is still modified by yours truly into a
proper geocaching micro container. The container has been placed in
an area designed to be highly visible that is accessible 24/7/365.
This cache is a departure for me because there is very little
danger nearby unless you are REALLY clumsy and could drown in 6" of
water or maybe you like wandering in the nearby traffic or you
could trip on your way to the coordinates (didn't I tell you to
look up from that GPS once in a while?) and bust your head open on
the corner of a big granite thingee or even stub that big fat left
toe of yours.
The cache container is not visible (when properly hidden!) but
is not a difficult find *IF* you do what you're supposed to be
doing at the coordinates.
The cache container contains:
1. New and improved (translation = same as before) geocache
paperwork with special attention given to the MEFF.
2. First finder prize!
3. Second finders prize! (first finder - DON'T MAkE ME COME OVER
THERE!)
4. Several small trade items.
5. Bring your own pen. I'm too darn lazy to put my pen idea into
practice.
Cache on, DUDE and DUDETTES, Dudelets, Duditos and Duditas!
The flood gates have opened now... Did I miss anyone?
UPDATE June 18, 2006: Container has been changed to a
35mm wrapped in camo tape. Thanks for the wash job Alberto!
UPDATE October 10, 2006: I updated the difficulty a full
point due to recent difficulties in finding the container. That
should up your numbers a smidge.
