Burfoot County Park covers 50 acres of property with 1,100 feet of saltwater frontage on Budd Inlet. Large open grass area with kid's play area, shelters, picnic tables, BBQ's and restrooms. From the west end, take the nature trails to the beach access which features beautiful views of the State Capitol and the Olympic mountains. Trails are muddy, and steps are provided in steep areas. Stay on the trail in the forest. Cache is on the beach, so no need to stray. Please rehide the cache better than you found it. Tides higher than 10' may make it necessary to either scramble over rocks or wade to get this cache.
