Unclaimed Lands 5: Margret's Grave Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Max Cacher: Greetings from Geocaching.com

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or let it remain archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

If you have replaced or done maintenance on this cache contact me and it will be unachieved, and be sure to post a note to the cache page that you have.

Thanks for your understanding,
Tennessee Geocacher

Geocache Description:

Off a gravel road, terrain should not give any one a problem. Look for a round altoids tin, that is the cache.

This is an area known for its paranormal activity. Im not really sure the full story of this area but here is how I think it goes:

There was this girl named Margret and she liked hanging out here. Then she died and they buried her here. You can see the grave stone. So one can see her ghost hanging out around here and if one places there keys on the roof of their car and walks around the keys will be gone. And for some reason everone around here hates Margret. I don't know why. But people spray paint the tree and the head stone is broken.

Personally I have never seen this. Then again I have never tried it. This place gets really misty at night as the vapours come up from the river. Kind of spooky. Woe to the night cachers. The tree though solid has a hollow core. What is all in there I can not be sure but I know a windshield scraper is. This cache has a little of a puzzle. I placed the cache without tools, ladders, etc. So try and find it with out any. It isn't out side of that little grassy area. One would have to be a good climber to get up this tree. The first 20 feet are the hardest.
