Geocache Description:

This is a VIRTUAL cache at the top of Pfeifferhorn Peak in the Wasatch Mountains. You can summit this peak from various directions, the most common being from Red Pine Lake. The elevation is 11,326 ft.

I started in Alpine and hiked to the top of Pfeifferhorn. Hiking from Alpine is definately the long way, but a very nice hike. I came down the more popular way by Red Pine Lake and into Little Cottonwood Canyon. If you want to get to this one before the snow hits you better do it this month. Logging this cache as a find will be purely based on the honor system. Please do, however, tell me the route you took and how long it took you (round trip). If you wouldn't mind posting a picture as well, that would remind me of how beautiful it is up there and inspire me to hike some more peaks in this beautiful State! This is my first Virtual Cache. We'll see how it goes!
