Geocache Description:

As named this is a moving cache with a very nice first finders prize. You will find out how to find it below.

The coordinates are just a start. This cache will be in a vehicle which will, on a regular basis, move to a different location. The cache will not be active all the time but you can check the site weekly for times when it will be. It is easy to track if you have access to a computer and someone to update you over the phone as to our movements. Just log on to findu.com and work your way through the pages to the APRS track page. Once there enter my call sign, K7ROG and hit enter. You will then see a map which will show our location and tell how long it has been since our position was last broadcast.

On the weekly updates we will give you a description of the vehicle we will be in. When you get to our location, to sign the logbook and claim your find, you must approach with your gps unit in hand so we know you are there as a geocacher. I hope you will try to trade in kind. Something nice for something nice, you know the drill.

This sounds complicated but it is not. If you are familiar with a computer it should be a snap. The difficult thing will be to track our movements if you don't make it while we are stationary.

See us in the Alero this coming Saturday, August 16 at the Dog Days Caching Breakfast. We will run the APRS all day to give those not in attendance a chance. Just use K7ROG and you could find us.
