Geocache Description:

A cache just for trading travel bugs. Close to street side parking.

There used to be a cache along this bike path called Travel Bug Trader, but it was more of a regular cache. This cache is only for trading travel bugs. This cache is starting off with 13 travel bugs, so as long as there more than four travel bugs, you can take a bug without leaving a bug (otherwise, one for one trades only). Please do not leave normal trade items! If you don't have any travel bugs to trade, then you may sign the log and claim the find. Here are the rules:
  • Anyone may log the cache with a TNLN.
  • If there are more than four travel bugs, you may take a travel bug without leaving a bug (just make sure at least four remain).
  • If there are four or less, you may take one bug only if you leave one bug.
  • You may leave a bug and not take a bug.
  • Don't leave any normal trade items.
  • You may claim your first visit as a find. After that, as you pick up or drop off travel bugs, please note what you took or left in the logbook and on the site (as a note).

The cache is hidden in a grove of trees just off the trailhead entrance. Enter the grove from the west. The cache has camo hiding it. Please re-hide the cache so that it doesn't look out of place.

This trail can be busy, but if you take care to watch the trail in both directions and the street trailhead, you should have no problems entering the grove unnoticed.

Note: if you have a travel bug that doesn't have a goal info tag, we suggest you leave the bug in Travel Bug First Aid or you may print out travel bug's page and place it in a ziplock bag along with the travel bug.

Note: Bugs may be grabbed and then dropped back in the cache, if you wish to claim the find on the bug. Just write down the bug number, grab it, and then when you log your find, select the bug so that it is placed back in the cache.
