Geocache Description:

This cache is a small tupperware container just large enough for a logbook and just a few small trinkets. The site is part of some burial grounds in the West Hills, and features a majestic SW view of Beaverton and surrounding areas from on high. When I am extremely frazzled about anything, several minutes spent at this place has always left me more thoughtful and at peace than before I arrived. So I get to share this gentle spot with you. :)

If you ever have driven on Skyline Blvd., you may have noticed Skyline Memorial Gardens. It is a place so classy and beautiful that using the word "cemetery" simply does not do it justice. It needs a more graceful word in English to describe it.

Save this cache search for the next blue-sky day. There, at a certain spot, a stone bench with a beautiful vista awaits you.

Is there something bothering your mind? Do you need just a little more life perspective? Then go alone to this cache site, rest upon the bench, take in the incredible 180-degree view to the southwest towards Beaverton. Perhaps think of what it means for you to be here in your time on Earth. It just might help you find a better perspective. :)

Don't take the kids along, they'll be bored silly.

To find the cache, find and sit on that bench, then reach sideways down and under with your left hand. If (in addition to the usual "found it!" report) you wish to share a word about someone you care about who has gone beyond, this logbook would not mind.

Peace be with you, all brother and sister geocachers, as well to those whom you dearly remember.

For safety, if you driving in from the south, AVOID the first driveway you see to the place. Roll on to the hidden second driveway, since there is a much less dangerous blind curve there. Also, that second entrance leads to some beautifully convenient parking.

Additional note: You just might want make a point of hunting this cache at sunset for maximum viewing effect! :)
