Geocache Description:

PARK AT: 39°27.399 X 74°44.372, From here you launch your boat or start your trek. The road marked "vehicle access route" is only for cars with a paid access permit or for campers. Do not drive there unless you have the permit or are camping. The paddle is calm water lake.

".....but I like paddle caches........Ok, Ok.....I'm going to be kind this once." This is a pleasurable paddle or a painfully long walk through sand roads, trails and some possible bushwack. You are in an Atlantic County Park the entire journey. Lake Lenape is a great lake for bass fishing, paddling, and bird watching. There are Eagles nesting on the top end of the lake and I have seen 3 at once during one of my voyages. My last visit June 6 03 I watched an osprey fish and devouer in the BIG dead tree near the cache. The Great Egg Harbor River is a National Scenic Waterway. Check at the ranger office for maps. Original contents are: mini vice, assorted trinkets and logbook and pencils. There are picnic areas and kiddie swings near the office. Enjoy this beautiful area.
