Geocache Description:

BRING YOUR OWN PENCIL!

Parking lot is located: N 47° 24.195 W 122° 19.784 cache is an easy 400' walk from here.

Alternate Parking on the side of the road, here: N 47° 24.319 W 122° 19.775 at the trail head. The cache is .1 mile walk downhill from here. Trail is open from 6am to 10pm.

Like any park on Puget Sound, it's more fun here with the tide out, but you can hunt the cache at any tide level. Click HERE to check the tide table.

Bring the kids and/or dog. They will have more fun at low tide, but the cache can be found regardless of tide level. No bushwhacking is needed. I will add hints later, if needed. I marked the coordinates with a Garmin GPS III+, then came back 2 days later, and checked them with my basic eTrex, which got me within 15 feet of the cache. Let me know if you show them off by more than 50 feet. Park is closed between dusk and dawn.

The Cache container is quite large for a micro, but there is only room for very small trade items. BRING YOUR OWN PENCIL!

Original Cache Contents: Log book I made; Geo-Magnet I made; MartMann magnet; Photon Micro Light II (green LED); Dollar Ring made by ajetpilot I got from cache GC7B93; Micro switch from the guts of a ‘Ground Power’ switch assy. that I replaced in the overhead of a 757 flight deck, years ago (this part still works); 1992 50 cent coin; 10 Agorot coin (Israel); 10 Kroner coin (Denmark); 3 coins from The Netherlands, a 25 cent coin, a 10 cent coin, and a 5 cent coin; a cork cap from a bottle of 1990 Dom Pérignon, mmmm…..Dom.

This is the second cache I’ve hidden. Feel free to email me with any comments/criticisms, good or bad, So that I can improve my cache hiding skills.
