I couldn't watch the TV anymore so I had to take a sad hike.
Cash is an orange ammo box in a rock carin. Its in the bottom of
a little drainage just of the PL trail. I think the country is
pretty, its in the first ponderosa pine grove on the trail, and its
cool after the hike up. Also in that area is a hill of quartzite.
The hill is white with it! Be careful on the trail, not that
there's any exposure, but in some steep spots there is a lot of
scree on the trail, and sitdown falls could be common. I saw a
young mountain lion that day just off the trail and a few years ago
I saw a bobcat. Hope you do too.
I've got a few REI whistles in it so help yourself if you want
to. Oops, there is a cost to park on your National Forests. I work
for the Forest Service and don't agree with that policy, but it
will cost you $3 a day just the same. Jim Dick, Jr.
