Cachin' Katie put this cache together herself and she invites all
her canine companions to sniff it out. It’s packed full of fun dog
stuff so bring something dog-related to leave behind. But please,
nothing edible, we don’t want to attract creatures other than dogs
and cachers!
We suggest you park at N37 55.647 W122 09.540. There is a $5 charge
for parking and a $1 fee for dogs. Katie is cool with that since
she likes to support her EB parks. There are a couple of trails
that you can take to get to the cache. One is a gradual uphill and
one gets steeper quicker. They're out in the open so if it’s a hot
day, bring lots of water. On the day we placed the cache, the fog
was sitting on the ridge, making the hike a very pleasant one. No
matter which trail you take, it’s approx. 1.2 miles away from the
staging area. The coordinates are an average so when you get close,
start looking around.
