You may want to start the day in downtown Cedarburg by watching the big 4th of July parade, which begins at 10 a.m. Here's a suggested vantage point where geocachers can gather to watch the parade: N43 17.586 W87 59.122. This is on Spring Street near the end of the parade route.
After the parade, come on out to Ken's house near Cedarburg (coords posted for this event cache) for the picnic from 1 - 6 p.m. We'll have lawn games and good conversation. A cache containing a log book is hidden somewhere on the property. The coordinates now indicate the cache location (updated 7/3 at 4 p.m.)
Following the picnic those who want to can go back to Cedarburg for the evening band concert in the park (N43 17.728 W87 59.027) followed by the city's fireworks celebration. Join us for the whole afternoon or just drop by to claim the event as a "find".
