North of Johnson Siding off Norris Peak Road (turn off Norris Peak Road and walk (closed to vehicles from this route)around gate at N44 06.171 W103 26.014). You will need a 4WD vehicle, ATV, dirt bike, or mountain bike, or hike the last 400 feet or so to the Rock Pile cache. To get there by motorized vehicle, you must get there from Bogus Jim Road. Please be careful during wildfire season.
This is our first cache we've placed. It's fairly far from any road. We got there from Bogus Jim Road trails on our ATV (a must from that direction) but the quickest way may be to come in from Norris Peak Road on foot or mountain bike(that entrance is closed to motorized vehicles).
The cache is in a new ammo box, well hidden amongst the rocks and the few lightning-stricken pine trees. Please take your picture (use the flash if it's getting dark) and put it back.
From the cache you can see far to the west and Harney Peak to the south. We heard coyotes as we placed the cache at dusk. Enjoy the view from the sun-warmed rocks!

disposable flash camera (take your group picture and return the camera to the cache...use the flash if it's getting dark)
