Mostly hardpack, nothing steep, great views.
Not too big a climb, not too hard to find, but then that's what they all say.

This one's close to "Navigator-Basecamp" by Cache Cows

I'll keep the description brief for now but I will say "watch your step"

The cache initially contained:

  • Geocaching letter - Notepad - Pens
  • Magnifying Glass
  • Metal ball
  • Utility Knife
  • Blank Cassette tape
  • Clear shower curtain liner
  • Japanese Kanji cards
It also contains a mysterious little 100ml bottle filled with something that most households have.
It's not water, drinking it isn't a good idea.
It's not flammable.
It cost about a buck.

Who can guess what it is?

Worked our way downhill from Force Fit (GC1JP1E) to here.

Definitely not where someone would just stumble across it, though we almost did just that as we were retracing our steps.

Took some food items out of the cache to dispose of.

Contrary to hints and other logs, I did have to bushwhack a little. The cache isn't at the end of the (coyote) brush, but there are distinct trails to it. I'm not sure if it's been moved, but at the least it's far enough away from the PO. Nice collection of boodle. I'd forgotten to examine the Japanese bottle -- thought it might be Tecnu because of the PO nearby. Anyway, TNLNSL TFTC!

To find this cache, we had to go pretty far off trail, but we never had to bushwhack. My brother, with the GPS, declared "20 feet away," when I pointed out the geocache at his feet.

Great views! Unfortunately, someone put candy in the cache. :( Red sticky goo on everything. Left some aliens.

I enjoyed an East Bay caching run today, taking advantage of the beautiful weather. I had great views nearby the cache at the end of the day. TNLNSL and TFTC!
