A fantastic 1300 foot elevation gain/2.5 mile hike to Shirley Lake.
The cache is not hard to find, but the hike is tough. Bring water. Start by driving past Plumpjack's in Squaw Valley and parking at the end of the road. There is a trail that starts from there and follows a creek to the lake. Follow the blue hash marks all the way there. Alternatively you can take the tram to the top and climb down to the lake.
